The day was very eventful and interesting for me. After turning up and receiving a bag with a full Wolves strip in it - even though I was given a pair of adults shorts, we were shown into the ball boys changing room. Including me there were four Wolves Mascots and only one Newcastle. Here we left our kit and were then taken to the changing rooms (no parents allowed) where I managed to get a great many of the players autographs and David Jones' whose autograph included a smiley face for me. I had taken a camera and had my photo taken with some of the team including Matt Murray, Dennis Irwin, Mark Clyde and Kenny Miller.

We were then taken back to get changed and then we had some more photos taken by the corner flag and in the dug out. It was getting close to kick off now and so we went into the tunnel to wait for the team. Eventually the teams came out and there was a tremendous roar as I walked out on to the pitch. It made it extra special with the sky cameras being there as I just managed to get the side of my face on screen. Walking onto the pitch there was a great atmosphere with fireworks and music playing. On the pitch I had a kick around with Paul Ince and Kenny Miller before taking a few shots at Matt Murray. I then had my photo taken with the refs, Wolfie & Wendy and of course the captains Paul Ince and Alan Shearer. We then ran off the pitch before watching the game - although we were still walking along the pitch to our seats when the first goal went in.

It was an absolutely brilliant day and we won! A day I will never forget.
