Wolves are fast earning the tag of worst premiership team ever as they fell to another crushing defeat at the hands of Chelski.

Wolves defense were finding it hard to cope with Chelsea's fluent attacking. A task not made easier when Butler was harshly booked for a tame challenge on Hasslebaink. The majority of the fans inside Molineux made Ref Messias know what they thought of his decision.

Wolves were still finding chances hard to come by with Iverson often left isolated upfront, while Chelsea went close to doubling their lead through Gronkjear and Lampard. Chelsea went through the motions in a comfortable end to the half. The frustration got the better of Ince who was booked late on for a crude challenge on Johnson.

DJ failed to make a change and so did the pattern of the game. Oakes had to be alert to deny Gudjonsson with a great save. Iverson was doing a spirited job upfront and caused Chelsea a couple of problems early in the half.
