Everton should have doubled their lead minutes later but Radzinski saw his shot saved brilliantly by Jones.
The game was being played at a high tempo as Wolves looked to hit back quickly. Martyn had to be alert to clear when Camara looked favourite to reach a through ball.
Wolves looked full of running with both Newton and Kennedy chasing problems on the wings. It was the Irish winger Kennedy who was next to go close when his 30 yard shot flew inches over.

With the home support treating the visitors to a few verses of "Bring back our stereo" and "Sign on" Rooney again missed a glorious chance. The young striker left Butler for dead but again fizzed his shot wide. Let's hope he remembers to pack his shooting boots when boarding the plane to Portugal.

The second half started in the same fashion as the first with the ebb and flow of the game producing chances for both sides.

A passionate display saw Wolves chew up the Toffee men with a convincing display, but now needing miracles it's all over bar the shouting. However, I would appreciate it if SKY TV took the Red Bar off our name in the league table, WE'RE NOT DOWN YET!
Despite a heavy Everton presence on the car park I'm happy to report both stereos and wheels were intact when I got in my car!
