| To 'JD Wolf' I have just started to read the match report on your site regarding yesterdays game and must say that I found it very short sighted.
In the first part he says
"Last home game of the season (?), and a nice sized crowd even though the Wombles could only muster 600 together and embarrassingly they were mustered in one third of the lower John Ireland. No ground and no fans! "
First of all we were going to be allocated behind the goal like last year but with your club expecting this to be a promotion party they moved us to down the side up'ed the price by £2.50 a ticket for a worse view (I was in row A) and only wanted to give us 300 tickets so more of your fans could get in. After discussions you doubled the allocation to 600 and we sold out.
Second, he say no ground no fans well I think that you should look back a few years to your own club you have been very fortunate to have owners that have build a brilliant stadium and you now have a constant fan base we as Wimbledon fans hope that we can have a stadium half as good as yours in Wimbledon area and then in 10 years time or so we will have a constant fan base i'm sure you are aware it takes time to build up.
Thirdly the player un-pronounceable (and unspellable ) you might have to learn it you could be hearing a lot about Patrick and the surname is Ag-e-Mang but spelt Agyemang.
So that it doent look like I am just having a moan I must say at the start of the second half when your fans got going it was one of the best atmospheres that I have heard at a football ground in years. Regards

So only 600 wombles hey! that means we (wombles) sold out our allocation,
pity the home fans could not be bothered to turn up and fill up the rest of
the ground!!!!
I do suggest you check your facts before posting on your otherwise good
site!

Just a quick line from a wimbledon fan. So often we get tarred with the
no ground no fans brush. Fair enough on the ground front. No fans? I
recall Wolves being in the old 4th Division and attracting 6,000 odd
fans. We may not have a large fan base, but surely, the hard core of
6,000 must be the same level as Wolves'?
Just a thought.
Sorry, but the few fans we have are as passionate about their team as
anyone. Don't knock us, pal. What we have achieved in 25 years of league
football is in my opinion, the greatest sports story this country has
ever seen.
ps. I hope you go up and tear the Premiership to bits. Never liked West
Brom.

Regarding your match report vs Wimbledon. "could only muster 600 together and
embarrassingly they were mustered in one third of the lower John Ireland. No
ground and no fans!"
You ****head, your club ONLY GAVE US 600. We could have brought more than double
that but your club wanted to get as many of your 'fans' in as possible.
And to be honest us Londoners had probably had enough of going up to the
wretched North of England for one season anyway.
