Player ratings are marks out of ten taken from a variety of newspapers, web-sites and magazines. These are averaged to give a score for that player for a game, a month or the whole season. Average on this site is always the mean average.
Team averages are purely the mean averages of the player ratings for that particular match or season. Note that some players can be awarded low scores for a match where they come on as a late substitute. This can lower the average score for that player and the team. Best player scores are based on the “Man of the Match” or best Wolves player grades awarded by a number of newspapers, web-sites, magazines or TV stations. |
