So we are in the Premier League and am I so glad!

The feeling has not yet sunk in. From the utter despair of last season to the complete elation of this week. Cardiff was a day that will be etched in my memory for many a year, the whole day from the fantastic stadium to the result at the end. For this I thank the players, the fans and Saint Jack. However, there is one person in particular I would like to thank and apologise to at the same time.

I have, over the past season and a bit, heavily criticised Dave Jones, repeatedly asking him to go. Now I hold my head high and - with a mouth full of humble pie - say that I am sorry, I was wrong.

Whatever, I said was purely out of frustration and a longing for the team to do well. I believed and still do that DJ is not the "Av it" hoof up field, kick anything that moves Muppet league manager. His style of counter attacking skilful play is more suited to the higher leagues.

And so the coming season holds little fear for me, I know we will not finish in the top half of the league and we will lose more than we win, but I honestly believe we can survive and consolidate.

This belief is due in the main to the attributes of DJ and the way he gets his team to play.

SO DJ I AM SORRY, FORGIVE ME!
