This site is designed, constructed and maintained by Fat Stat, with lots of help from Treva, Jim, Stuart, Dave, Keith, Chelsea Dave and Forest Paul. Thanks also to Phil for his help in checking the historical results. This site is a totally amateur site, and the design aspects, CSS, html coding, Flash, etc. are all self-taught.

The site was launched in June 2001, originally as a way of making my unique player ratings available to everyone. I quickly decided to do, or get other fans to write, match reports. Since then the site has grown to include more stats (including stats back to 1946) and also the "fans pages" which allow me and other fans to try to be amusing, or at least have a go at the swampies. This version of the site was designed in June/July 2003.

This site has been constructed using AceHTML 5 Freeware (avaialble from (Visicomm). I've used a freeware version of TopStyle Pro 2.5 for the CSS (available from Bradsoft). Both are very good.

Some of the early pages were constructed with HotDog Professional 5 (available from Sausage Tools, or (even earlier) Web Plus 6 (although I have hopefully updated all those pages by now).

All images are formated/manipulated using PhotoPlus 8.0 (from Serif), the only software that I've paid specifically for the website.

Some banners and buttons have been created using Xara webstyle 2.I've also used Flash 5 on a free trial to create some fancy graphics. I loved it, but it is just too expensive. I therefore use the freeware version of Swish, which is a very good alternative. For some graphic effects I have used Anfy, which is freeware and creates effects using Java.

I use (free) syndicated services for some pages. For News I use the Express and Star and myfootballnews. For premiership stats I use Statmail. All three of these services are excellent.

I publicised the site with Add Me which submitted my site to lots of search engines. I am registered with NewsNow, a good resource to register with, no matter what your site is about. I also added myself to as many football lists sites I could find (or found me). And of course I submitted my site to loads of Wolves sites - all of which can be found on my links page.
