Nightmare.

I said in the previous version of this page that I thought that the b*ggies away match against Coventry was crucial and that Hughless cheating Hughes would have a bad game. Am I psychic? I have no idea why Coventry played him.

Anyway I also said that if we could come out of the weekend with the same three point difference between our teams I would be happy. So I am not happy.

Now there's no other way of looking at it - there's three games and we have to win them all. I doubt very much whether it will come down to goal difference.

I think that W*** Brom have to be seen as favourites now. It has been said that by the "law of averages" they must win soon. That is rubbish, and is the old gamblers' fallacy. Just because they have won the last 6 or seven matches has absolutely no relevance to future matches - except that it will have given them confidence. The only good thing is that now the pressure is on them.

Friday is a definite "must-win". No ifs or buts, lose on Friday and I think that we will be in the play-offs. On the bright side if we win there will be an awful lot of pressure on the Hand B*ggies.

Having said that I have a feeling it will go to the last match of the season, and that Bradford might do us a favour - as we did them a favour by losing to them a couple of seasons ago. Freedman and Akinbyi getting the goals that counts against the hand b*ggies also appeals.

Now its in the lap of the Gods, with plenty of heartache left to come. lets hope the Tescos are the ones that feel it.
